The Delhi–Mumbai Industrial Corridor Project (DMIC) is a planned industrial development project between India's capital, Delhi and its financial hub, Mumbai. The DMIC project was launched in pursuance of an MOU signed between the Government of India and the Government of Japan.
Dedicated Freight Corridor
The 1,504km long route from JNPT to Dadri via Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Palanpur, Phulera, and Rewari. Westen DFC will pass through Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujrat, Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh. It’s proposed to join the Eastern Corridor at Dadri.
Solar Power Plant
India is going to be a home to the world’s largest solar power project. It has been finalized that the 4,000 MW project will be set up close to Sambhar Lake, about 75 km from Jaipur in Rajasthan. Sambhar Lake is India’s largest salt water lake. A major highlight of the project is that it is expected to sell solar power at Rs 5.50 per unit to power distribution companies, the lowest tariff so far.

Suresh Gyan Vihar University
A New upcoming research center spread on 70 acres of land is located near Sambhar Lake, Tehsil Phulera, and District Jaipur. University’s Center for climate change and research is under establishment near Sāmbhar Lake. The University’s investment budget is about 20 cores focused on campus infrastructure and other developmental activities. The campus is specifically dedicated as the research and development center focused on the activities related to environment, climate change and sustainability.
